A criminal research example in the Quran
In the surah Yusuf there is a event about a shirt, between Yusuf and Zulaiha, where there is no witness (23-29). Zulaiha, the spouse of the Minister, complained a felony to Yusuf: “He wanted to be with me!” An expert came and said: “If the shirt was ripped from behind, Yusuf is right and the woman is guilty. If the shirt was ripped from the front, the woman is right and Yusuf is guilty.”
Criminal research is a decision and the Quran accepted this as a witness. The minister based his decision on this and said to his spouse: “Make taubah (repentance) and beg for forgiveness for your sin!” Through this way her guiltiness was decided. (Prof.Dr. Abdulaziz Bayindir).
