Allah forbids us to divide or be divided!

Allah forbids us to divide or be divided. Being divided has nothing to do with being merciful. The more we are divided the weaker we will be. To divide and disintegrate is the principle of pharaoh. Therefore it’s prohibited to divide and be divided.

What have we been divided into?
* Sects
* Religious orders
* Religious communities

“As for those who divided their religion and became sects—you have nothing to do with them…” (al-Anam 6:159).

“And hold fast to the rope of God (the Quran), altogether, and do not become divided!” (Al Imran 3:103).

“Pharaoh exalted himself in the land, and divided its people into factions.” (al-Qasas 28:4).

“And do not be like those who separated and disputed after the clear proofs came to them…” (Al Imran 3:105).

“But they tore themselves into sects; each party happy with what they have.” (al-Mu’minun 23:53).
