The Quran doesn’t accept the belief that the first sin was committed by a woman!
According to the Old Testament the first sin was committed by Eve, in other words by a woman. The serpent deceived first Eve, then she deceived Adam to eat the forbidden tree. Thereby, the first sin was committed (OT, Genesis, 3:1-24).
According to the Quran, the first sin wasn’t committed by a human, but by the devil. Iblis (devil) revolted when he didn’t obey Allah’s order, before Adam ate from the forbidden tree (The Quran, al-Baqara [2] 34).
The Quran doesn’t say that the woman began the evil and seduced Adam. Contrarily the Quran relates the sin of causing both to be sent out of heaven to Adam, in other words to man: “But Satan whispered evil to him: he said, “O Adam…” (The Quran, Ta Ha [20] 120). The devil seduced first or primarily Adam, than he seduced the woman.
The conclusion is that according to the Quran, the first sin was committed by the devil, not a woman. The first human who was cheated by the devil was a man, not a woman.
