Can ancestry save you in the hereafter?
Noah couldn’t save his son (Hud 11:42-43), Abraham his father (at-Taubah 9:114), Lot his wife (at-Tahrim 66:10) Asiyah her husband, who was the Pharaoh, from hellfire (Hud 11:97-98). Salvation depends not on ancestry, but on the rewards of your deeds (an-Najm 53:38-41).
